So, we've been referring to stuff by temporary names. We should get around to actually naming them. Let's take a first pass at a handful of items:
Fate
Primary Type
Secondary Type
Scene Health
Adventure Health
GM (this can stay unless we come up with something good, Director?)
Resources
Cinematic Events
Okay, so that is the first bunch. This is a cinematic/fun/lighthearted/rules-light game, so keep that in mind when suggesting.
If you're sticking with the allowance of more than one Secondary Type at the cost of XP, you may want to give it a different name, so players don't end up with several Secondary Types.

What sort of other name are you thinking of for secondary type?

Hmm, Major Type/Minor Types? Primary Type/Accessory Types or Auxiliary Types or Subsidiary Types. I'm sure we could also use an online thesaurus and put in Secondary, as a writer, you'll learn to love the thesaurus.
ReplyDeleteI like Core Health, since it is the very Core of your being in a sense that those wounds are the ones that HURT, Core sounds important, which that type of health is.
I think if a Director tells a player he's losing Adventure Health, it's kinda scary, but informing a player that the wound affects his Core Health sounds like it'll pack more of a punch.
We'll stick with Core, and Director.
